For 2nd edition we would probably have to do it oldschool. A pitch each, with tokens on them - and emailing our turns back and forth. The thought of that, while a pain in the ass, has a certain luddite lure to it. However - without the nostalgia I'm not sure you could stomach the 2nd edition rules. They're completely nuts! Guess that's why they're so flavourful. =D

If we just want a proper game, I agree - LRBx is good. Something that lets me stat up a team with two werewolves, a few dwarves and a handful of halflings. I have most of the team painted - it's only two flings and a werewolf that needs paint applied.

You seem to have a little better grasp of the available clients. Cook something up? =)phreedhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13400910734490932729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542564069442839838.post-22944741175168675132016-05-10T12:54:51.012+01:002016-05-10T12:54:51.012+01:00I would swap a day with 11XCore to avoid a migrain...I would swap a day with 11XCore to avoid a migraine any day!Rabhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10066364524817373862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542564069442839838.post-56378578352074191002016-05-10T12:54:23.764+01:002016-05-10T12:54:23.764+01:00I've never played 2nd! I suppose I'd had in mind something like the Midgard pbem client (which admittedly runs lrb4), which would allow us to have photos of our players down the side.

I think you've given me the supporters' slogan for my team as well - "In it for the Blitz and Niggles"Rabhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10066364524817373862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542564069442839838.post-48588377352430387312016-05-10T10:39:49.435+01:002016-05-10T10:39:49.435+01:00disgraceful, skipping school to paint....no wonder...disgraceful, skipping school to paint....no wonder you getting more painting done than me!!! ;-)

they look great thoughAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06686845726197626674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542564069442839838.post-99159516563098522016-05-09T23:10:32.219+01:002016-05-09T23:10:32.219+01:00That sounds like a rather good idea! :) 2nd editio...That sounds like a rather good idea! :) 2nd edition w companion and star players books? Or current competition rules? My vote is on 2nd for gits and shiggles, like.

I used to play 'offline' fumbbl, as in we played peer to peer over the net but the teams were hosted on my site instead of fumbbl. I then rolled advancements etc IRL and updated the rosters. Allowed my cousin and I to play both remote and tabletop using the same teams.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542564069442839838.post-47327099598382580602016-05-09T09:01:56.269+01:002016-05-09T09:01:56.269+01:00Those are great!
