Luthor's Peacock Co.

Ahead of tonight's OGRE games of Necromunda, I've got my Guilder gang finished and based - and even with one spare ganger ready to swell numbers if needed. Handily they also form the start of my Rogue Trader and retinue for some retro RT/40K action in the future. Introducing the final three...

Finish the job, don't get killed, get paid, don't drink or gamble it away. That was Tyler Watson's mantra and he stuck to it fervently. See, he'd been above the Line once, and that had been enough. Now every waking moment went towards The Plan - buying the bio-signs and passes to sneak across and set up in a new life where the air was barely 'cycled, no-one was trying to blow your head off, and the food wasn't just nutri-sticks. Finish the job, don't get killed, get paid, don't drink or gamble it away.

Bobby Fettle? Story went he'd been a bounty hunter but had lost his clients 'cos of a rat. He'd been shipping some fella back from the Outlands in cryo but a rat had chewed the cable and the mark had defrosted. In the case. No food, no water. He was dead and rotting by the time they got back to the hive. That was the reason for the 'tache as well - always perfumed to mask the imagined smell of putrefying corpse...

Hayden Blue, the fungus boy. He'd try anything to get a buzz; that hair colour was a case in point - laced with some critter's venom, slowly being absorbed through his hair and scalp. Mental!

So, that's the lot. Time for a family photo:

I wonder if any of them will survive their first encounter? Wish me luck!

  1. They look great! The orange and white is really striking, and you've brought out all the character of the Space lords figures. I hope they do well for you!

    1. Thanks axiom - the orange and white was originally inspired by some of your Brat colour combos, so I'm glad you like them! Spacelords are fun to paint, so much so that I sneakily splashed on the base coat for the fur on my first spacelords scifi beastman while I brewed a pot of tea to take up to the missus this morning.

    1. Cheers WP - yup, about 2:1 I reckon. I shall just have to rely on superior weapons and tactics. Oh, and plenty of beginner's luck :)

    1. Thanks Bluey - Luthor is going to be staying safely out of the way. Covering fire from the mercs to allow Gregor to get up close with that claw of his, then vaping them with the lascannon once they break cover. Or something like that!

  4. Fantastic looking set of models. Hope to see them expand their numbers over time. :)

    1. Very kind of you, SCL - I've already started on their abhuman companions and, as soon as I snag five minutes on the laser cutter at school to get myself a couple of larger hex bases, then the Oathsworn Miniatures robot will be joining the crew soon as well.
